Looking for something new and different to do with your dog?   Why not try Rally-FrEe?  Rally-FrEe is a unique sport that combines the trick behaviors of Canine Musical Freestyle with the structure and format of Rally Obedience.  It emphasizes precise execution of fundamental freestyle and obedience skills while encouraging creative and novel behaviors on a Rally Obedience style course.  Rally-FrEe encourages and supports the use of positive reinforcement training methods that strengthen teamwork and fosters a reciprocal learning process between dog and handler.

Get in on the ground level of this fun new sport!  Rally-FrEe combines the structure of a Rally course with the fun of tricks, Freestyle and free choice behaviors.  Prerequisite: a desire to have way too much fun with your dog.

This workshop will cover an introduction to Rally-FrEe: rules and guidelines, how to get started,  Novice signs and how to train for them,  plus some of the skills needed for the intermediate level.

A little about our instructor – Julie Flanery: Julie has titled dogs in obedience, rally and agility as well as musical freestyle.  She has competed in freestyle since 1999 and judged it since 2003.  Her freestyle wins include over 30 first place medals, multiple High Technical Merit and High Artistic Merit awards, Championships in both Musical Freestyle and Heelwork to Music Divisions, and three prestigious Attilla Challenge Awards.  In 2001 the World Canine Freestyle Organization named Julie “Trainer of the Year”.  Julie has presented seminars both nationally and internationally. Julie’s energy and enthusiasm are unmatched! Her workshops are both fun and informative and will leave you wanting more!
